First of all, there are the must-sees: the Navacelles circus, Mont Aigoual, the cave, the gorges of the Herault (in canoe).
And then there’s everything else: the Ganges and Le Vigan outdoor markets, the Montdardier tree climbing, hiking, biking and mountain biking, Saint Guilhem Le désert, La Couvertoirade…
And a little further: Anduze and the little train of the Cévennes, the bamboo grove, the bridge of the Gard, Uzès, Nîmes, Montpellier and the beaches of Frontignan and Palavas les Flots.

The campsite offers a bar and restaurant in July/ August. The restaurant is open only in the evening and offers salads, pizzas, burgers, meats, vegetarian dishes.

The cave la grotte des Demoiselles is located in the Thaurac massif in the Hérault valley near Ganges, in the department of Hérault, Occitanie.
It takes 20 minutes by car.
Arrival in Ganges, take the direction of Montpellier. Cross Laroque and then arrive at Saint Bauzille de Putois you have to take a left, it is indicated.

To canoe, you have to go to Saint Bauzille de Putois (15mn). Many bases are located here.
The navigable section extends from Ganges to Barrge Bertrand, 13 km.
There is a second navigable zip line to Saint Guilhem the desert and le pont du diable.

The two main outside markets are Ganges (10mn) on Friday morning and Le Vigan (10mn) on Saturday morning.
The Sumène market is on Wednesday morning (small market).

  • You have everything you need in the kitchen:
    • Plates, glasses, cups, bowls, cutlery, pots and pans, salad trays, corkscrews, bottle openers, jugs, under plates, cutting boards, etc.
    • Filter coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, gas hob, sink, etc.
  • For sleeping, you have:
    • Double bed, single bed, mattress, duvet, pillow.
    • You must bring your sheets and towels.

For rentals (mobile home and canvas bungalow), you can arrive from 15:00. Departure must be before 10:00.
The rental must be cleaned. An inventory of the places of exit is made.
In high and very high season, rentals are only from Saturday to Saturday.
For pitches (for tent, caravan, camper), you can arrive from 14:30. Departure must be before noon.
The reception is closed between 12:00 and 14:30.

Yes, but the bar and restaurant are only open during the high and very high season, namely July and August.
The grocery store is also open in April, May, June and September and you can buy food, fresh drinks and ice cream.

It is quite possible and even advisable to swim at the campsite les Gorges de l’Hérault.
Swimming can be done all year round even if the river water is a little cool until May.
It is possible to jump from rocks into water holes or relax along the water. There are 2 private beaches and the riverside for walking.
Pool side, it opens from June 15 to September 15. The paddling pool opens from July 10 to August 25.
We remind you that short beach is not allowed in the swimming pool you need a swim brief (tight swimsuit).

The paddling pool is open from 10 July to 25 August from 10 am to 8 pm.

Dogs are allowed on bare pitches (tent, camper, caravan) and if you rent a canvas bungalow.
They must be kept permanently on a leash in the camping grounds.
If you rent a mobile home, dogs are not allowed.
